About GreenMove: Transforming Rural Mobility for a Greener Future

GreenMove is an ambitious initiative designed to tackle the environmental challenges linked to rural transportation. The project aims to foster sustainable mobility solutions in rural areas through innovative technologies, participatory strategies, and strong transnational collaboration. Recognizing the effectiveness of traffic limitation policies—such as Low Emission Zones—GreenMove seeks to combat road congestion and reduce pollution through rural transformation.

The project is committed to enhancing dialogue and cooperation among stakeholders, organizing seminars, workshops, and knowledge-sharing events to promote best practices. Leveraging digital tools and information technology, GreenMove will facilitate the acceptance and implementation of sustainable development policies in rural communities.

A Strong Network for Lasting Impact

GreenMove has established a robust network of cities dedicated to sustainable mobility. Over the next 18 months, the project will develop tailored action plans for each participating rural area, ensuring the active engagement of citizens and local authorities. By promoting democratic participation and raising awareness of European values, GreenMove reinforces the importance of sustainable mobility in shaping the future of rural communities.
