Angelos Onisiforou, Deputy mayor of Paphos Municipality says:

"It is with great joy and pride that I welcome you all to our beautiful island of Cyprus, and to the charming town of Paphos—our proud European Capital of Culture in 2017. It is an honor to host you here for this special occasion.

Today, we gather for the 5th GreenMove meeting, a significant event that brings together 16 countries and 17 partners dedicated to advancing sustainable transportation and adopting a holistic approach to societal progress. The theme of this meeting—“Transportation Infrastructure: Adopting a Holistic Approach to Societal Progress”—resonates deeply with our shared commitment to building resilient, inclusive, and sustainable communities.

We are especially pleased to welcome such a diverse group of experts and stakeholders to our town, which may be small but is rich in history, culture, and ambition. It is a true testament to the importance of collaboration and innovative thinking in tackling the challenges of our times.

A warm thank you also goes to the Municipality of North Corfu for inviting us to participate in this exciting project. Your trust and partnership are very much appreciated.

Let us make the most of this gathering, exchange valuable ideas, and work together towards a greener, more sustainable future for all.

Thank you all for being here, and I wish you a fruitful and inspiring meeting!"
